How it works
1. Get a quote
Our online Get a quote questionnaire captures your high level job requirements. If your project is large and/or complex, we'll call to talk it through in more detail.
- Login/register and submit a 'Get a quote' request. Requests received before 15:00 (GMT) (Monday to Friday) will be acknowledged within two hours.
- A Translation Project Manager with the specific knowledge and skillset for your project assesses your requirements.
- We contact you if we need clarification or more detail about the task.
- We email our itemised quote, confirming our timescales for complete the task.
2. Placing your order
- Reply to our quote email, if you wish to proceed, giving your written approval for us to begin work.
- You arrange full or partial pre-payment, send us your personal invoicing instructions and/or a Purchase Order.
3. Document preparation and assignment
- Your documents/audio/video files or other media is prepared for secure processing.
- We brief the translators, including instructions around security, document formatting, guidance on preferred tone and style, end-use and audience
- We supply translators with reference materials if available.
- We confirm when your task has been assigned to a translator and re-confirm our delivery timescales.
4. Quality assurance
- The fully proofread translation is returned to us and we carry out in-house reviews to make sure that the document is presented and formatted in line with your instructions.
- A second translator is engaged to carry out further proofreading or editing if instructed by you. We facilitate two-way communication between the two translators to reach agreement on any style/meaning/tone challenges.
5. Sign-off and return
- Your completed translations are returned using our encrypted file-sharing service.
- You download and store the translation locally.
- We send our final invoice as required.
Collaborate and communicate
You'll receive timely project updates and be made aware of any changes, which may impact on our ability to meet your deadline.
Simultaneous support is given to translators and clients to respond to any queries they may have.
